Blueberry Bread

1 ½ C. Sugar 1 tsp. salt

½ C. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking soda

½ C. melted butter 2 C. chopped pecans

1 ¾ C. orange juice 1 C. oats (not instant)

2 eggs 2 C. blueberries

4 C. flour ½ C. orange marmalade

1 T. baking powder small aluminum loaf pans

Combine sugars, butter, orange juice and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Add nuts and oats to dry ingredients and blend. Combine dry ingredients with orange juice mixture. Stir in berries and orange marmalade. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans and allow to stand for 20 minutes before baking.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1hr and 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans. The bread freezes well.
