What fruit is available to pick and when? We only grow blueberries. Please check with other farms for strawberry picking. Blueberry season typically starts to the latter part of June or early July.
-
Are you organic? No, however we are Certified Naturally Grown. We use an organic fruit fly bait that is sprayed on the trunk of the bushes, never on the fruit.
-
What is your admission fee? We do not charge to enter our farm.
-
Do you provide picking containers? Yes, we have buckets you can use.
-
Can I bring my own container to pick in? Yes you may, just make sure it is weighed prior so you are not buying your container at the current blueberry rate.
-
Do you take credit cards? Yes, all major cards are accepted.
-
Do you grow your produce? We currently do not. All produce is purchased from local VA farmers.
-
Do you allow dogs? New Policy: During blueberry season, dogs are not allowed to visit due to food crops being grown. Animals can not enter the growing areas or vegetable stand.
-
Your hours stated you were open, but you appear to be closed, why? On occasion we need to close to heat, picking conditions, storms or any unforeseen event. As an operating farm with many moving parts, we do need to close without notice. It is always with good reason so customers will have a good experience in a safe environment.
